The Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council
The Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council (TSIC) is the umbrella organisation that represents the interests wild capture fishers, marine farmers and seafood processors in Tasmania. Where other organisations such as TSEC, Oysters Tas and TORC represent the shellfish sector on sector specific issues TSIC represents the industry on cross-sectorial issues such as water quality, the development of food safety plans, marine infrastructure and the impacts of climate change.
