Australasian Aquaculture 2010 – Oyster Session: Monday 24 May 2010
Australasian Aquaculture 2010 (AA10) is being held in Hobart, Tasmania 23–26 May 2010. A special 'Oyster Session' is scheduled for Monday 24 May and everyone with an interest in oysters is encouraged to attend.
Whether you're an exporter or sell locally, you'll be able to walk away from the oyster sessions at AA10 knowing where you can improve your business profitability.
The presenters include special international guest speaker Peter Redmond who will use decades of experience in US seafood marketing and retail to talk about increasing the value of Australian oysters. You'll hear new results on how shelf life can be measured, predicted and extended; whether the China market is viable for Australian oysters; which growers and which buyers are making money and how they're doing it; and hear from the growers themselves.
